With over 18 years of relevant experience, Alex previously worked in fixed income trading and portfolio management at M&T Bank, where he helped manage the bank’s multibillion-dollar discretionary asset portfolio of mortgage-related securities​. He also has past experience in middle-market private equity.

Alex Prombaum is Co-Founder and Principal at Liberty SBF. His primary responsibilities include overseeing the lending operations of the company and serving as Chief Credit Officer. Alex has over 16 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, previously holding roles at Merrill Lynch Capital and Picerne Capital.
